Hmm…so many favorite things….where to begin…..
First off, I LOVE the creative work of Kellie Rae Roberts. I found her work in a gallery in Mendocino in 2013 and now her art and goodies are always on my Christmas list. It’s inspiring and helps me feel good about having courage to try new things, self acceptance, and finding the joy in my life.
In the kitchen I’m a big fan of my new electric pressure cooker. For a busy person, it’s a lifesaver. Plus it doubles as a crockpot and a yogurt maker. Pretty sweet, yes?
Another kitchen must-have is my food dehydrator. I make flax/chia crackers in this, as well as dehydrate seasonal fruit. I even make kale chips (see below re: kale)
This is kind of fun – every heard of Fitness Blender? My co-workers and I use this website at work to get in workouts during lunch or breaks. It’s free for all the workouts, which is fantastic, and I have to say there are some real butt-kickers in the mix.
In terms of food, my #1 love will probably always be kale because it is versatile, tasty and reminds me of my best friend. I put it in everything including: soup, eggs, muffins (yes!), meatloaf, salads, on tacos, enchiladas, and definitely smoothies.
i notice you love some burt’s bees products….i’m in love with “mama bee nourishing body oil” (even though i’m not a mama) -chocked full of sweet almond and lemon oils-so refreshing on the face, neck, hands-has an old fashioned beauty remedy vibe. also bb’s “repair serum w/ attar of rose” in a large glass vial, lasts forever-has rosehipseed oil, evening primrose, jojoba, everything healing you can imagine and smells heavenly 🙂 🙂 🙂
Hey Ahbra,
thanks for the comment about Burt’s Bee stuff – I too love almond oil…I’ll have to check that one out 🙂
