The only thing I’d change, is I’d reduce the sugar to 1/2 cup – the apples will sweeten it enough. An unrefined sugar will give the recipe a rich taste.

these recipes are so similar to my own recipes. i agree too that the recipe doesn’t require much sugar. i use oj , golden raisins, and a sprinkle of brown sugar to balance the tartness sweetness factor.
this is once of my favs to eat this time of year. i eat it alone or in my oatmeal or in a sandwich or …. i will be bringing you some next week. xo
